Another example of utilizing DataSource plugin with Data Maps module for displaying sales summary by countries.

Here is the vector map of France. We added colorful markers at some cities.
Marker size depends on a city area and marker color depends on a city population.

Try hovering over the cluttered markers around Paris, and a magnifying glass will open to show the markers in more detail.

In the following example we use “GeoChart” map to display area in (km²) of European Countries with region color corresponding to Country area (bigger areas are darker than smaller ones).

This example displays a satellite imagery with population numbers displayed as markers on top of corresponding Countries.
